Company and position Brief: Our client is a company operating in the heavy steel fabrication, mining-processing equipment, and related manufacturing sector. They are seeking a highly accurate, organized, and self-motivated Cashier to manage daily cash and bank operations, ensure proper transaction recording, maintain financial controls, and support efficient financial processes. Key Responsibilities / Job Description

• Conduct daily physical cash counts and verify opening balances against subledgers.
• Review payment requisitions, vendor bills, and expense claims for proper documentation, authorization, and 3-way matching.
• Manage petty cash and ensure compliance with established cash limits.
• Initiate electronic bank transfers, RTGS transactions, and cheque payments for authorized approval.
• Issue remittance advice to vendors where required.
• Record all cash and bank payments, receipts, and subledger allocations into the ERP system daily.
• Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations and investigate any variances immediately.
• Safeguard cash, cheques, banking security tokens, and other financial assets in accordance with internal controls.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant business experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or steel fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Financials, or MS Dynamics 365.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
