Wine Chaudeau
Story Behind The Recipe
I saw this recipe in one of the cookbooks, thought to give it a go. I added the corn flour to thicken it and it was amazing.
Ingredients
- 50g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 yolk
- 13l Water 13l White Wine
- 2/3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Cornstarch and a few drops of vanilla essence
Instructions
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk well, it should be very low heat, heat the liquid slowly and keep whisking until you get a lot of foam, remove from the heat and continue whisking until the mixture thickens. Do not let the mixture boil. Serve warm over pancakes or apples… Enjoy 😉
